PAWNS
Em 1973, um jogo de xadrez reacende antigas memórias de dois jogadores sobre o encontro fatÃdico que tiveram durante a Primeira Guerra Mundial.
In 1918, William, a young British soldier, new to the field, finds himself sharing an enclosed space with an enemy German soldier after experiencing the carnage of the battlefield, a situation which will give them the opportunity to look past their differences and rediscover their humanity. Written by David Barbeschi

A war story. Like many others, at the first sigh. But impressive for its poetry and portrait of friendship and hommage of past. A film about two old men and a long chess game. The cinematography, the performances are more than good. Like the atmosphere. An useful film. About past. And its rehabilitation of humanity.
